We are very proud to announce we have started a new environmental initiative within our organisation. In the past two years, the pandemic has increased the amount of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) being used around the world. This had a big impact on our environment and the impact on our streets with increased litter and discarded used PPE, especially masks.
As a Health and Social Care provider, we know that we are only adding to the amount of PPE that is being used. With the new project we have taken responsibility and we are taking action to protect our community and our environment. We are properly disposing of our used PPE with ReWoked, using a safe and environmentally friendly scheme.
ReWorked and their team of partners has a new method in waste handling, waste collection treatments, and its end-use. With their knowledge, they are able to bring new products to the market or reintroduce them into the supply chains, all made from waste materials. They want to help close the loop with waste products and we have joined forces with them to make this valuable difference.
