The sadness that comes whenever there is conflict, especially between nations is always a catastrophic, heart-breaking, and terrifying event. The situation in Europe is currently one such situation. I am sure the hearts and thoughts go out daily to all of those involved.
We see and experience how the misuse of Politics, Power, and Propaganda threatens and attempts to disempower EVERYONE humanitarian rights I am sure that throughout our communities we are all devastated by such current action not only in Europe but throughout the world. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.
It is amazing that during times of such disasters how the drive to fight for survival prevails bringing together everyone who strives for peace and unity. Today we see here in Harrogate one such example an amazing drive to unite and stand together, people offering whatever support they can. Focusing immediately on donating much needed clothing, toiletries, medication, and survival equipment to the cause. It only took 24 hours for people spontaneously to come together donating truckloads of goods, storage drivers transport vehicles. Initiated by one simple request for help sparking off further web sites messages offering assistance, both businesses and individuals responded by stopping to see what they could offer and delivering instantly.
Such unity is an inspiration and much needed reminder of what a community is about and the good it can achieve. Everyone involved has come together to show solidarity and active support to all those affected by this disaster. Without such human kindness, the dictators would win and no one’s life would be of value.
