Hi everyone! Let me share a personal milestone – THE BIG 50!!!
This year threw some health challenges my way, impacting my life in ways I hadn't anticipated. Navigating big changes hasn't been easy, and it's been a journey for both me and my family to come to terms with it all.
However, with the incredible support from ubu and some amazing external professionals, I'm charting a course where I can continue living a meaningful life, achieving those desired outcomes, and breaking some barriers!
And then came October, the month when I hit the grand age of 50. Now, that's a massive milestone worth celebrating! I wanted to keep it low-key, just a nice, intimate gathering with the people I love.
Thankfully, my enabling team had my back, they helped me plan and organise a get-together with my family and friends I don't get to see often due to the distance. I had heart-to-heart talks with my sister and Mum, and the day was set. We spent the afternoon together, enjoyed a delightful meal at a restaurant, and capped it off with a birthday cake that screamed, "Cheers to 50 fabulous years!"
It was such a lovely day, filled with laughter, love, and family. Here's to embracing the next chapter with open arms!
