Easter Surprises

On the 29th of March, the People We Support at Beaufort Avenue attended the ubu Easter Market facilitated in Blackpool.

In preparation for the event, the People We Support were supported to make decorative Easter cakes. The cake displays were tastefully adorned on one of the tables at the market and tempted many attendees to purchase the Easter cakes, often in multiples.

A total of over 60 Easter cakes were made in preparation for the market and the majority of these were sold, and with the money that was made, the People We Support were supported to purchase a wide variety of Easter eggs.

These fabulous Easter eggs were donated to a local charity called Brian’s House. Brian’s House is a children’s hospice and offers care to the community’s most fragile children and their families.

The Easter eggs donated will provide some of the vast range of available prizes for the children from the Easter Egg Run that were facilitated in Blackpool on the 2nd of April and made many children very happy this Easter.
