As one of the leading deaths in the world, cancer has been wreaking havoc for centuries. We will now and always continue to fight back and on this day, we stand up to cancer.

As the medical industry continues to work tirelessly to find a cure to cancer, they have made advances with radiology, chemotherapy and so many more treatments that the hope builds for those with cancer.

Stand up to cancer was founded by several women in 2007 whose lives had been touched by cancer. By 2021 Stand up to cancer has raised more than £746 million for cancer research. Bringing together more than 2,000 world leading scientists in the hope to end the leading cause of death worldwide.

Today we talk about a disease that kills, causes suffering to not only the patient but to all those around them. Take today to look at all the different ways you can stand up to cancer.
