World Humanitarian Day

This day pays tribute to those killed or injured whilst carrying out humanitarian work. It honours all health workers who provide life -saving support and protection to those who need it.

This year the #NoMatterWhat is to emphasize the commitment and perseverance of humanitarian workers. It highlights the bravery and dedication of individuals  who put themselves in danger to give support to those in need.

This day coincides with natural disaster season, making it a very fitting day to commemorate and celebrate aid workers helping worldwide.

We express gratitude and appreciation for the work done by humanitarians, this day should raise awareness about the challenges they face and the challenges vulnerable communities face that need their help.
