My name Is Lucy and I moved into Alviston House on 11th July 2022.. I am very family orientated and lived in the family home until 2021. Before Moving into, I was living alone and felt very lonely, isolated, and confused.
Since coming across to Alviston House I have made two friends who also live here and we have some pamper nights, cinema trips, and loads of cooking meals and playing come dine with me.
I am really excited for the future to learn new skills, make friends, and to also give back. I am waiting to start volunteering at Hundens Nursing home where I will be a friendly face to listen to and help with the afternoon tea rounds.
Being here I have someone around all the time when I need them. The staff are caring and always smiling and have helped me to move forwards in my life.
