Like most of the country, I have found and still am finding the current situation very confusing, challenging, stressful and isolating.
I am lucky enough to have a family who I am around constantly, but this has really proven hard, so I can't imagine how it has been for the people who live on their own and don’t have any human contact because they are isolating.
I have found it difficult to be a full-time mum, partner, employee and friend.
I find it hard to unwind, the drive from work was my time to unwind, leave behind the day before resuming my next role.
What I have found uplifting and inspiring is the courage and ease that keyworkers, ours especially, have everyday, amongst all the confusion, fear and trepidation, they have been at work through thick and thin, they have kept people safe and the country running.
My partner is also a keyworker, delivering home shopping to the people of Leeds, constantly facing threats, comments and disregard for others, but I am so proud of him, because he does it all with a smile on his face and has still managed to keep us all safe.
