ubu achieves Investors in People GOLD standard by Dorothy Jarvis-Lee

Investors in People (IIP) is the national quality standard for the training and development of people. It provides a framework for improving performance through setting business objectives and developing staff teams to meet them.

To become an Investor in People, organisations must be able to show that we have sound leadership, management with good practices in place. Ensuring staff training and development opportunities allow them to contribute to the performance of organisation.

ubu has held the Investors in People standard since 1996, and we are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the GOLD standard.   

This standard is only given to organisations who can demonstrate excellence in developing and supporting their staff and ubu have met more than 165 evidence requirements of their standards that included commitment to values, personal development and social responsibility.

The Gold standard is achieved by just over 7% of organisations recognised by Investors in People throughout the UK.

Feedback highlighted how ubu has embedded its core values of openness and honesty, fairness and kindness, respect and responsibility, and how these values have been embraced by staff at every level and connected to everything that they do. ubu  was also praised for its strong, and  passionate leadership.
