Why might you ask, is the engagement of a workforce so important? 

Well, the answer is quite straightforward…

Without an engaged workforce there is no chance of us providing consumer-centric supports to our consumers.

We all want as human beings to feel safe, valued, well rewarded and secure at work. ubu as an organisation has processes and systems in place for this. However, we all need to work as one team to ensure these are used to the benefit of employees and consequently our consumers. 

Some examples of these systems are: supervision and coaching sessions, competency frameworks, and learning and growing opportunities, as well as constant constructive feedback from our managers and colleagues about how we can improve our performance or indeed praise for a good job well done.

Let’s make sure we are all using these systems to their full potential, so they can assist us to consistently engage with each other as well as our consumers, in fact with all our customers. 

Let’s live the values and culture of ubu – openness, honesty, fairness and kindness, always ensuring engagement with consumers, serving them well and at the heart of all we do.
