Leeds 10k run

On Sunday 10th July a group of keen sports men and woman enabled by ubu took part in the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k run. The team were taking part to raise money for Epilepsy Action as it is a charity close to their hearts and their families.

This is the second year that the team have taken part in the run as it is such a fun day but they were determined to beat their finish time from last year. With thousands of people cheering our runners on, they kept the momentum going and focused on the finishing line. As they crossed the line celebrations began as they realised they had achieved their personal best time - ten minutes quicker than last year!

So far an incredible £400 has been raised for Epilepsy Action but this figure is likely to increase over the next few days. The charity will be collecting the money in person when it’s all been collected and thanking the team for their amazing contribution. The team cannot wait for next year’s event and are looking for more people to join them!
