It's April! Time is flying and the sun is showing the first signs of coming out for the long haul! Fingers crossed for a spring full of sunshine and a bit of warmth!

Again the calendar is packed with important events this month. Perhaps the most important for us is that April as a whole is Autism awareness month.

4th April: Qing Ming Jie (Chinese)

7th April: Yom HaShoah (Judaism) and World Health Day (Secular)

11th April: Hindu New year (Hindu)

14th April: Birthday of Guru Nanak (Sikh)

15th April: Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Judaism)

18th April: Birthday of Guru Angad Dev (Sikh)

19th April: Swaminarayan Jayanti (Hindu)

20th April: Ramanavani (Hindu)

21st April: First Day of Ridvan (Baha'i)

23rd April: St George's Day (Christian)

25th April: Hanuman Jayanti (Hindu), Therevadin New Year (Buddhist) and World Malaria Day (Secular)

29th April: Ninth Day of Ridvan (Baha'i)

April is also recognised around the world as Autism Awareness Month, Stress Awareness Month and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.
